We have to go back to the summer of 2014 when I went for the first time to this unknown place for most of us, Tbilisi. Bassiani wasn’t even opened, since then every single year I have been back, at least once, until BASSIANI opened two years ago and I became resident. Many things have changed, the crew grew and made this space one of the most unique and special in the world, not only for its technical characteristics, this space is much more than that. Every DJ who plays there feels the magic and plays better, longer and more intense. The crowd who fills it up and won’t let you go down.
Is a symbol of freedom, revolution and respect, for us and the upcoming generations. A refuge for those who where different, for the gay, lesbian and transexual. For the freaks, for the socially unaccepted and for everybody who wants to be part of this.

Today this place that I can proudly call home is facing its closing. It won’t be just the end of the party but much more for all the values that represent. We can not let this happen, we won’t.

We fight together, we stand together. We are Bassiani.
